Services For Members
When we established the Victoria Health Co-op in 2008 our focus was to provide services for our member-owners. This remains the primary purpose of the Co-op. The services for our members include the Monthly Member Clinics and the Health Access Fund.
Member-owners can receive treatments at the monthly Member Wellness Clinic on a pay-as-you-can rate. These are scheduled for the fourth Sunday most months – please check the calendar. Member-owners receive email reminders about the Monthly Wellness Clinics. For many members this is an opportunity to receive treatments they could not otherwise afford and to try out new modalities.
These Clinics are also an opportunity to make a donation to the Creating Community Wellness Society which supports the Health Access Fund and helps members receive additional treatments if necessary. Donors to the CCWS receive a charitable donation receipt for their income tax return.
To be eligible for these services please join the Victoria Health Co-op by completing the Membership Application and mailing it with your $50 life-time membership fee, to Treasurer, Chris Mather 1287 Boulderpath Rd, Victoria, BC. V9C 3X5 or drop it off at the Co-op Health Centre, 547 Michigan St.
